ISLAMABAD: Government on Thursday has announced to increase petrol prices by Rs 2.50 per litre while Rs 4.75 per litre increased for high-speed diesel.
The increase was due to higher rates in the global market, the Finance Ministry said.
The government increased kerosene oil prices by Rs 4 per litre and Rs 2.50 increased for light diesel. The new prices will come into effect from March 1st until March 31.
The petrol prices after an increase of Rs 2.50 per litre stood at Rs 92. 888. The prices of high-speed diesel (HSD) after a rise of Rs 4.75 turned Rs 111.45 per litre.
New Kerosene oil prices for the month of March reached Rs 86. 3 after the hike of Rs 4. New light diesel oil prices stood at 77.53 after an increase of Rs 2.50.
