QUETTA: The Balochistan finance minister Mir Zahoor Buladi said on Thursday that the budget for the financial year 2019-20 presented by the provincial government is people friendly and the government will soon overcome the budget deficit.
During the press briefing on budget of the current fiscal year, the provincial minister said that all the stakeholders had consulted before the drafting of the budget and therefore, the provincial government became successful to present people budget.
Talking on the occasion secretary finance Noorul Haq Baloch said that form 2009 all budget were carrying deficit but they tried to minimize the deficit in the budget.
Additional secretary development told the media that the infrastructure has been given special attention in the budget.
“Maximum funds allocated for the livestock, fisheries and departments of income generating,” he mentioned adding federal government has assured its support for infrastructure projects.
