ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the government is duty-bound to ensure fair distribution of resources among all the federating units of the country.
He was talking to Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri who called on him in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Prime Minister said the government’s vision of transforming Pakistan into a developed state is not possible without development of all federating units.
He said all areas of the country have equitable rights over the country’s resources.
The Prime Minister said Gwadar Port will change the fate of the people of Balochistan and the entire region.
He said he is personally monitoring all development projects in the province.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister of progress made on various development projects and welfare initiatives undertaken by the provincial government. He told the Prime Minister that with improved security situation the development projects are being executed with renewed spirit.
He said the deprivations of the people in Balochistan are aptly being addressed through the Federal Government’s major initiatives in the province.
