MULTAN: Former leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the government should take measure to prevent corruption in the government offices adding that if a leader of any political party including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) conducted corruption then he must be held accountable.
Addressing a presser in Multan Dr. Farooq Sattar said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not only enough for the eradication of corruption adding that political parties should also enforce a system of accountability in their parties.
Senior politician Dr. Farooq Sattar said that economic and constitutional reforms are the need of the hour.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that previous governments were also responsible for the present state of the country adding that existing government failure will be interpreted the failure of all.
He accused that general election held in 2018 was engineered and demanded that administrative unit be established around the country including in South Waziristan.
Talking about his founder chief of MQM he said that he disobeyed party ideology so we left him.
He further said that he was not acceptable for some in MQM-P and he was forced to leave however he said that one MQM will appear soon.
