ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said the government realizes the importance of trees as best instruments of Climate Change Mitigation.
In his message on International Forests Day, the Prime Minister said it is a matter of pleasure that Pakistan has already ratified the ‘Paris Agreement’ whereby Pakistan is committed to deal with impacts of climate change through technology framework and enhanced capacity building.
The Prime Minister said Green Pakistan Programme has already put in operation in the country to fight adverse impacts of Climate Change.
