Gujranwala (August 13, 2017): Two extortionists were killed while accomplice managed to escape during a alleged police encounter during a raid conducted by FIA here.
According to police the dead suspects have been identified as Osama and Raza Ali.

The suspects had shot a trader Imran dead on July 23 for refusing to pay the extortion money.
According to DSP Imran Abbasi the suspects belonged to Atif alias Aati Butt extortion ring.
According to details the suspects opened fire on police when it stopped the motorcyclists at a checkpost. Two suspects were killed in return fire by the police while the third managed to flee. Arms, motorcycle, and cash were recovered from the possession of the dead extortionists.
