Gujranwala (December 5, 2017): Anti-Corruption police raided a police station here nabbing a police officer while receiving cash bribe.
According to details the officers of Anti-Corruption Department raided Pasroor police station and caught Assistant Sub Inspector Amjad red-handed while taking bribe.
The marked bank notes totaling Rs 75,000 were recovered from the possession of the arrested ASI Amjad.
According to Director Anti-Corruption Fareed Ahmad a case has been registered against the arrested police officer.
He also said that the arrested ASI Amjad had taken the bribe from a citizen for the lodging of a FIR.
