LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Wednesday appeared before Lahore High Court (LHC) to attend the hearing on three of his bail pleas.
A two-member bench of the LHC comprised of Justice Ali Baqir Najafi and Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem is hearing the case.
Earlier on May 15, Hamza appeared before the LHC to seek an extension in interim bail in cases pertaining to assets beyond means, Ramzan Sugar Mills and Saaf Pani Company scam.
During the previous hearing, Hamza told the court that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not revealing the causes of arrest and conducting raids on his house to harass his family. To which, the NAB’s prosecutor produced the documents showing the causes of his arrest before the court.
However, the NAB had refused to provide the copies of the documents shown to the court to Hamza Shahbaz due to being confidential.
Later on, the court by accepting the extension plea adjourned the case’s hearing till May 22.
