LAHORE: The pre-arrest bail plea of the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz, granted by Lahore High Court (LHC), is ending on Monday (today).
Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday barred the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz till April 08 while anti-graft watchdog team returned empty-handed.
LHC’s Justice Sardar Shamim heard a case pertaining to the pre-arrest bail request of the PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz.
The lawyers of PML-N leader were appeared before the court and sought a pre-arrest bail.
The court, in its short hearing, approved a two-day pre-arrest bail request and barred NAB from arresting Hamza Shahbaz till April 08.
LHC has constituted a two-member bench to hear on the pre-arrest plea of the PML-N leader and ordered him to appear before the court on Monday.
