KARACHI: All preparation including security measures and of other sorts have been finalised at National Stadium Karachi as the city prepares to host eight matches of the fourth edition of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Nearly 13,000 security officials have been deployed for the purpose including 250 commandos and women officials. 500 shuttles will be used to transport the spectators from the entrance to the stadium’s watching spot.
Viewing the security conditions, a full dress rehearsal has also been planned.
Security has been divided into five layers who will be in the control room for monitoring all scenarios using the installed CCTVs. Four checkpoints have been made for the spectators.
Moreover, all spectators have been instructed to enter the stadium two hours prior to the match. They have also been forbidden to bring any eating or drinking item inside the stadium.
Traffic in front of the stadium will be diverted three hours prior to the fame however the road which leads to Agha Khan hospital will remain open throughout. Karsaz to Stadium road, Dalmia road, Hasan square to Stadium track will be closed.
