KARACHI: The Lahore Qalandars won the toss and opted to field first against Islamabad United in the first match of Pakistan Super League of Karachi-leg at Karachi National Stadium on Saturday.
Chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has arrived in Stadium as PCB chairman Ehsan Mani welcomed him on his arrival.

Along the security around the stadium aerial security is also in line and army choppers hovering over the stadium.
as per details, the ICC team of security experts visited the National Stadium of Karachi to review the arrangements of the security.
The team found the arrangements of the stadium’s security satisfactory.
Nearly 13,000 security officials have been deployed for the purpose including 250 commandos and women officials. 500 shuttles will be used to transport the spectators from the entrance to the stadium’s watching spot.
Viewing the security conditions, a full dress rehearsal has also been planned.
Security has been divided into five layers who will be in the control room for monitoring all scenarios using the installed CCTVs. Four checkpoints have been made for the spectators.
Moreover, all spectators have been instructed to enter the stadium two hours prior to the match. They have also been forbidden to bring any eating or drinking item inside the stadium.
