KARACHI: The firework and flawless century by the Kamran Akmal helped Peshawar Zalmi to get an easy victory against Quetta Gladiators on Saturday at National Stadium Karachi.
Kamran Akmal hit first hundred of the PSL 2020 and made 101 on just 55 balls as his innings envisaged with 13 fours and four might sixes.
Peshawar Zalmi achieved the target only losing fours wickets.
Earlier, despite Jason Roy’s solid half-century Quetta Gladiators set 149-run target for the Peshawar Zalmi on Saturday at National Stadium Karachi.
At one stage when Sarfraz Ahmed joined Roy Quetta seemed to set a big total but after the dismissal of Sarfraz, Peshawar Bowlers dominated and restricted Quetta at 148 for 5.
Roy posted 73 on 57 balls with six fours and a six while Sarfraz Ahmed made quick 41 on 25 balls.
Wahab Riaz took two after giving 21 runs while Rahat Ali, Muhammad Amir and Sammy grabbed a wicket each.
