LONDON: Pakistan Cricket Team head coach Mickey Arthur has expressed trust on a pacer Muhammad Amir regarding his performance against England adding that Muhammad Amir is a bowler of big matches and his performance against England could give his entry to World Cup squad.
Head coach of Pakistan cricket team in an interview Mickey Arthur said that pacer Muhammad Amir could take only five-wickets in a whole one year after champions’ trophy despite that Arthur declared him the player of big matches.
Arthur said that Muhammad Amir performance in net and practice remained splendid while he said that he is sure about his best performance against England after that he will be able to make his place in the world cup.
He said that If Yasir made his googly better then he proved to be a lethal arm of the team adding that “Yasir could play an active role against any team if he found conducive wicket.”
Arthur said Yasir inclusion in the world cup squad will depend on his performance against the series against England.
He said series against world number one team and host is the best opportunity for the preparation of the World Cup 2019.
