He said in 2018 there has been lots of improvement in the law and order situation and they want to continue with this improvement. The PPP government has to perform so well that when next the election is held, we should be able to make Bilawal Bhutto Zardari prime minister of Pakistan, he said.

We will work with the federal government as long as they give Sindh its due rights, he said.

Shah said that the previous federal government did not give Sindh its due rights but this term they will demand them and use all avenues available to them to do so.“Are they going to remove all the workers at pm house? The prime minister sad there are 500 and something workers and he will only keep two, I believe. If he does so, it’s a good thing,” said the chief minister.

He reiterated his point that they will work to get Sindh’s due rights. He said he was very happy when PTI members of the Sindh Assembly said they will fight for Sindh’s rights. The PML-N didn’t cooperate with us in this, he explained.

He mentioned the NFC award as part of these rights and said that Sindh give 70% of its resources and submits its corresponding proposals, which should be listened to and implemented. We also want our due share of water, said the chief minister.

We will not oppose federal government when it works for the betterment of Sindh’s people, he said. Indeed, I hope there will be betterment, he added.Regarding the Karachi package and lack of mention about packages for the rest of Sindh, Shah said Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi made promises during their tenures as prime minister but couldn’t fulfill them. Prime Minister Imran Khan made similar promises and I hope fulfills them, he said. “He can do it however he wants to. If he wants to give us the money directly or sit and monitor all the work himself, however he does it I will be happy,” said the Sindh chief minister.
