Islamabad(March 19, 2018): Ministry of Health has demanded approximately 37 billions and 71 crores for new and special programs.
According to the details, Health ministry has represented its suggestions for budget 2017-18. Ministry of health has demanded 37 billions 71 crores for special programs for 32 underway programs and suggested to start 26 new programs.
The ministry suggested allocating 22 billion for projects that are underway and 15 billion for new projects.
8 billion suggested being allocated for construction of new hospitals under Prime Minister programs while 9 billion are suggested to be allocated for EPI program and 8 billion 70 crores are suggested for population welfare.
The budget of the ministry of health for 2017-18 was 48 billion only.
