LAHORE: The continue downpour has made the Lahore roads and street ponds and streams as traffic jam and power break down to put the city life in a standstill.
The rain in cats and dogs created a mountainous task for PTI’s Punjab government and they started relief work to put the water out from roads particularly on main thoroughfares.
The rain started last night and still continue that causing severe problems for movement and maintain traffic flow.
According to Met office 132mm rain recorded at Lakshmi Chawk, 99mm at Upper Mall, 85mm at Jail Road and 41mm at Mughalpura.
Met office predicted that the rain likely to continue for more one week.
