Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of cabinet has approved to transfer control of heavy mechanical complex to Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC).
The ECC meeting was held in chair of finance minister Ishaq Dar and the meeting decided to hand over the control of heavy mechanical complex to AEC. Besides that the committee also issued instruction that during transfer of control rights of employees must be safeguarded and half of an amount of 500 million rupees which has been given to company will be used to pay salaries of the employees.
Furthermore, the committee also approved holding up of bidding for Chinese companies wanted to work in Gawadar port and also approved a committee recommendation set up for determination of LNG prices and instructed that the recommendations must be send to OGRA as a policy instruction.
