ISLAMABAD: Intermittent rainfall and hailstorm continued on second day in the federal capital Islamabad which resulted cancellation of eight domestic flights from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad.
At the start of the day, heavy clouds shrouded summer sun, after high winds, heavy rainfall and hailstorm with thunder storm was happened, leaving pleasant weather and clear reduction in temperature.
On the other hand, eight domestic flights have been canceled and several flights are delayed due to heavy rain and high winds in Islamabad. Airport officials said that flight operation would resume as, weather condition gets better. However, according to meteorological department, rainfall was expected to be continued in upper areas of Pakistan, including Islamabad in next 24 hours.
