Rawalpindi(May 9, 2017): Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is continuing across the country indiscriminately as heavy weapons recovered from South Waziristan and Southern Punjab.
“The security forces have recovered suicide jackets, explosive cylinder, IEDs, Anti tank mines and detonators from Khyber and South Waziristan agencies during Intelligence Based Operations,” ISPR said in a statement.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition of various caliber including SMGs, pistols, Rockets also recovered from an abandoned terrorist compound in village Lalejai and Weshtonai area of South Waziristan agency.
Suspects apprehended alongwith arms and ammunition were recovered during joint operations in Lahore, Attock, Islamabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, DG Khan, Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur.
