Helicopter Crashes in Balkh Province, Afghanistan

Kabul (September 03, 2018): At least 12 people have been killed as helicopter crashed in Balkh province of northern Afghanistan.

According to security officials, two Ukrainian crew members were also included in deceased.

According to security sources, the helicopter crashed due to technical problems shortly after taking off in Dehdadi district.

It was transporting Afghan security forces from a military base to the volatile northwestern province of Faryab.
