‘High value target’ of TTP’s Sajna group killed in Waziristan action

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has killed a ‘high-value terrorist’ and his accomplice, who were affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Sajna group.

According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorist Mehmoodul Hassan alias Khawaja Madni and his accomplice were killed in security forces operation carried out near Jandola, South Waziristan.

During the raid conducted under Operation Raddul Fasaad, security personnel recovered weapons and ammunition buried in a cave in the terrorist hideout.

Operation Raddul Fasaad was launched by the Pakistan Army last month following a spate of terror attacks in the country, which claimed more than a hundred lives and left hundreds others injured.
