ISLAMABAD: A record number of cases and deaths have been reported from coronavirus today.
As many as 107 people succumbed to the global pandemic while 6, 397 persons contracted the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) after the emergence of 6,397 new cases of coronavirus total tally jumped to 1, 250,933.
Punjab is the most affected by the virus as it has reported 47,382, Sindh 46, 828, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 15,787, Baluchistan 7,673, Islamabad 6, 699, Gilgit 1030 and Azad Jammu and Kashmir 534.
The highest number of tests 28,300 conducted for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours while more than eight lakh tests have been conducted for the coronavirus so far in the country.
As many as 40,247 patients have been recovered from the virus.
