Hot, Dry weather expected in most part of Country

Islamabad (May 17, 2017) Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country. However, it said rail is likely in Kashmir.  

According to Met Office, during next 24 hours, weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry. However, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas are likely to receive rains coupled with gusty winds and thunderstorms.

During the last 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, Multan Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Larkana, upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir received rains.

Highest rains was recorded Malam Jabba 29 mm,  followed by Jauharabad 24 mm, Kohat 20 mm, Chirat 17.

Yesterday’s highest temperature was reordered in Dadu, and Turbat at 45°C
