Lahore (June 02, 2017): Prime Minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz have never been part of country’s politics but have the honour of braving imprisonment for democracy during a dictator’s regime.
In multiple tweets on Friday, Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif had announced to present himself for accountability and first got himself accountable and now accountability of his children was going on.

Taking a jibe at PTI Chief Imran Khan, Maryam said that someone had asked for starting accountability from him, “But for presenting himself for accountability one must have a heart like that of Nawaz Sharif.”
کسی نے کہا تھا احتساب مجھ سے شروع کریں، لیکن احتساب کے لیئے پیش ھونے کے لیئے نوازشریف جیسا دل ھونا چاہیئے.

She added that Hassan and Hussain were sons of the great man who had come clean in strict accountability in very regime.
حسن اور حسین اس عظیم انسان کے بیٹے ہیں جو ہر دور کے کڑے احتساب سے سرخرو ھوکر نکلا.

It is to be mentioned here that Prime Minister’s youngest son Hassan Nawaz on Friday appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) currently seized with investigation of Sharif family business dealings abroad.
The PM’s eldest son Hussain Nawaz had appeared thrice before the JIT which grilled him for hours in each appearance about his assets.
The JIT was constituted last month by a three-member special implementation bench of Supreme Court in the light of the apex court verdict in Panama case.
“Some said that the accountability process should start from me, but you need a heart like Nawaz Sharif’s to appear for accountability,” she tweeted.
Even though Hassan and Hussain have never been a part of politics, they have suffered immensely during the [last] dictatorial regime, she added.
Earlier on Friday, PM’s younger son Hassan Nawaz appeared before the JIT in the morning to record his statement.
The JIT is investigating the prime minister’s family’s global financial dealings in light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment.
On Thursday, the premier’s elder son, Hussain Nawaz, appeared for the third time in front of the JIT. He spent about six hours with the JIT.
