Islamabad (July 4, 2017): Prime Minister elder son Hussain Nawaz will appear before the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Sharif family’s offshore holdings today.
The meeting of the JIT will be held at Federal Judicial Academy which will be presided over by Wajid Zia, head of the team and additional director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

All the six members of the JIT will attend the meeting.
The JIT will question Hussain Nawaz about London flats and trail of the money used for purchasing the properties.
Sources said that the investigation has entered into final stage and the JIT has started preparing its report which will be presented in the Supreme Court on July 10.
On Monday, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appeared before the JIT. The JIT questioned Dar for over an hour about Hudaibia Papers Mill case and his alleged confessional statement regarding money laundering. This was first appearance of Dar before the committee.
The same day, the JIT questioned Hassan Nawaz for about three hours. Hassan appeared before the team for third time.
Prime Minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz is also scheduled to appear before the JIT tomorrow.
On July 2, the Prime Minister’s cousin Tariq Shafi appeared before the team to respond the members questions about Gulf Steel owned by Shairf family.
