Karachi (November 18, 2017) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain has said that he did not tender his resignation from Karachi chapter presidency in writing.
Talking to Abb Takk News at City Courts, Dr Asim said that he did not need any office, saying that his name was itself a brand.
When asked whether he was removed from the party office, he said that no one removed him from the office. He said that he served the people of Karachi and want to do so in future too.

Though Dr Asim said that he did not tender his resignation in written from, he has tended to add he had stepped from the position as he was going out of the country for six weeks.
When asked if he resigned under pressure after meeting Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar, Asim said he had not tendered anything in written.The PPP leader asked journalists to direct their question to thoe who were spreading rumours.
“I will do whatever Asif Zardari asks me to do,” Asim said.
