ICC suggests revolutionary changes in ODI

International Cricket Council (ICC) has been considering  suggestion to bring revolutionary change to make cricket popular all around the world and the suggestion will be presented this year’s the ICC annual conference after that voting will be carried out on the proposal.

As per the suggestion the ICC will hold up an ODI league consisting up of 10 full members and 3 associate members of the ICC and associate countries included Afghanistan and Ireland while for third team Nepal is favorite. However any other team on the basis of world cricket league champion could be selected for associate country in the ODI league.

The ODI league proposed will be started in  2019 and every league member will play each other home and away series during three years time and as a whole every team will have opportunity to play 36 matches in three years cycle.

A play-off series will be held between two top teams consisting up of three to five matches and its winner will be real one day champion.

Fourth year will be served as for preparation and holding up of world cup.

If suggestion approved with test cricket based on two division along with one day than all members of the ICC have chance to play equal number of test and ODI matches.
