ICC Test players ranking: Misbahul Haq jumps six points, Younus maintains 8th

Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq’s brilliant 99 not out in first innings against West Indies in first Test, which was won by Pakistan, has pushed him from 26th to 20th rank in new International Cricket Council (ICC) Test players ranking.

In  ICC new ranking mighty Younus Khan, who has crossed the mile stone of 10000 runs against WI in first Test , restored the 8th position but former ODI captain Azhar Ali slipped three point and reached at 10th position from seven due to poor performance in first Test.

Australian captain Steve Smith maintained top rank, New Zealander Williamson second and English batsman Joe Root on third slot in new ranking.

In bowlers ranking Muhammad Amir jumped by 13 points and stood on 42 while Yasir Shah on 15th. Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja possessed first rank, Ashwin second and Sri Lankan spinner Rangana Herath on third rank in ICC ranking.
