ISLAMABAD: Frosty wave has continued to envelope most upper parts of the country on Sunday which has led to a considerable drop in mercury.
Snowfall is expected to occur in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan whereas rainfall is expected to engulf Quetta, Malakand and Hazara, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The lowest temperature was recorded at Kalam which was -10°C, followed by Skardu at -09°C. Bagrote was recorded at -07°C, Astore at -06°C, Malamjabba at -05°C, Kalat at -04°C, Hunza, Gupis, Dir, Drosh at -03°C.
Meanwhile, cities of Quetta, Chitral, Rawalakot, Mirkhani were recorded at -02°C on Sunday morning.
