IG Sindh notices threats of Zulfiqar Mirza, SHO suspended

KARACHI: Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali took notice over threats given by Zulfiqar Mirza to the police officials. The top police officer suspended Station House Officer (SHO) of Darakhshan police station in Karachi and sent show-cause notice to Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) over the incident.

Police spokesperson said that IG Sindh took notice of threats of former interior minister Zulfiqar Mirza to the police officials. IG Sindh suspended suspended Station House Officer (SHO) of Darakhshan police station in Karachi as he failed to make adequate security arrangements to control the situation.

IG Sindh also sent show-cause notice to the Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) over the incident. Moreover, IG Sindh directed DIG South to present inquiry report of the incident while FIR was also lodged under anti-terrorism 1997 act.
