Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday allowed more farmers to become respondents in the Sugar Mills Association Case.
Chief Justice IHC Athar Minallah heard the petition filed by the farmers from Raheem Yar Khan to become respondents in the Sugar Mills Association case.
The petitioners’ counsel Safdar Shaheen in his arguments said that sugarcane farmers have a direct connection with the Sugar Mills Association case and for fulfilling all the requirements of justice the farmers’ point of view should also be heard.
The IHC issued notices to respondents on the petition of the farmers while the judge also orders to set the case for hearing with other petitions regarding the issue on June 19.
