ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved an interim bail of ex-federal minister and Jamiat Ulmae -Islam- Fazal (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan durrani in a NAB probe against him in the assets beyond income.
The IHC divisional bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah heard the interim bail petition of Akram Khan Durrani.
The court has approved the interim bail of Akram Durrani until November 4 on submitting surety bonds of worth Rs half million while the court also asked reply from the anti-graft body through issuing a notice.
It is pertinent to mention here that Akram Khan Durrani has knocked the court doors to avoid arrest in the NAB investigation against him in the assets beyond income.
Talking to media convener of the opposition parties rehbar committee Akram Khan Durrani said that the government is in difficulty and it has been contacting.
He said that his party chief Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman neither meet Pervez Ellahi nor any meeting will be held with the government negotiation committee without the leadership of the rehbar committee.
