Islamabad (August 31, 2018): The Islamabad High Court on Friday has ordered the federal government to decide about the appointment of Musharraf Rasool as Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf Senator Azam Sawati has challenged the appointment of Musharraf Rasool as Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).A single member bench of IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has announced the reserved verdict; apex court has ordered the federal government to decide about the fate of Mushraff Rasool.
IHC said in its verdict that every appointment must be according to constitution, federal government has authority to appoint CEO PIA.
