Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday ordered to recover the missing persons.
The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the pleas of recovering missing persons.
The CJ remarked that when implementation on the constitution will happen than security of the people will be ensured.
During course of the hearing, Deputy Secretary Interior Ministry appeared before the court.
The court asked him which agencies are working under the interior ministry? Deputy secretary responded that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Frontier Constabulary (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are under the interior ministry.
However, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) work under the premier, he added. He said that the committee is very serious about the matter, just give us some time.
The court said that the court has given a chance to the state. The CJ said that the court will observe meeting of the committee while the court has made PPP leader Farhat Ullah Baber and Member Islamabad Bar Council Abid Nazeer Advocate as the judicial assistants.
The court while ordering recovery of the missing persons remarked that if implementation of the court orders not followed then PM will appear before the court.
The hearing of the case adjourned till September 9.
