ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear on Wednesday (today) the plea filed by former three-time prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia reference seeking sentence suspension on medical grounds.
A two-member bench of the IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kyani and Justice Amir Farooq will hear the plea.
Nawaz’s counsel Khawaja Haris, on this occasion, will present his arguments before the court.
On Thursday, IHC adjourned the plea hearing till June 19 (today).
Khawaja Haris appeared before the court and pleaded to postpone the hearing until after Eid as the paper box was incomplete.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz was sentenced to a prison term of seven years in the case pertaining to Al-Azizia Steel Mills.
