ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear the plea of incarcerated prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, seeking bail in Al-Azizia Reference on medical grounds on Tuesday (today).
The plea was filed by Nawaz Sharif’s chief counsel Khawaja Haris in the court where NAB Chairman, Accountability Court and Super Intendant of Kot Lakhpat jail are made respondents.
The former premier and PML-N supreme leader, in his petition, has cited his ‘worsening’ health condition to get bail.
“According to the advice of doctors, Nawaz Sharif’s life is in danger. State of isolation may cause his health to further deteriorate”, the petition stated.
It includes advices of doctors of the United States, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
