ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday fixed hearing of former premier Nawaz Sharif’s bail plea on medical grounds after Eidul Fitr in Al-Azizia corrupton reference.
According to the details, the IHC will hear Nawaz Sharif’s bail plea on June 11. The court has issued notices to the federal, superintendent Kot Lakhpat jail and the National Accountability Bureau in this regard.
A division bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani will hear bail plea of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N’s) supreme leader.
It must be noted that Nawaz Sharif was sentenced seven years jail term in Al-Azizia corruption reference and fined Rs1.5 billion by the accountability court.
