Imam-e-Kaaba Meets President, Other Prominent Leaders

ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad al Juhany met President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Monday.

During President Arif Alvi’s meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah at the President House, Dr Arif Alvi said that Pakistan greatly values its relations with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He added both the countries have shared bonds of history, culture, traditions, faith and values.

Expressing his thoughts on recent successful visit of the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to Pakistan, President claimed that he won hearts the Pakistani nation with his wholeheartedness.

Moreover, during his meeting with the prestigious Imam-e-Kaaba, President Alvi welcomed Saudi Arabia’ move of increasing Hajj quota for Pakistan to 200,000.

Imam of Masjid Al-Haram, reciprocating the received love form Pakistan, said that relationship of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is beyond diplomacy as it is based on faith and added that hearts of people of both nations beat together.

On the other hand, Imam-e-Kaaba also paid a visit to the parliament house where he met Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

Sadiq Sanjrani, on this occasion, called for unity of the Muslim community in such high times. He added that a new door of development and prosperity will be opened in the near future with the Kingdom’s investment in Pakistan.

Seconding Sadiq Sanjrani’s call of unity among Muslims, Imam-e-Kaaba said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s security is strung together.

Asad Qaiser also, in his meeting with Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad al Juhany tabled positive thoughts on his arrival to the country.

“Saudia Arabia is a great friend of Pakistan and has always stood by our side in tough times. Both countries share a common culture, history, faith and heritage”, Asad Qaiser said.
