PESHAWAR: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Bin Ibrahim arrived in Peshawar on Thursday afternoon to attend the centenary celebrations of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) starting from today at Azakhel in district Nowshera.
JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf welcomed the Imam-e-Kaaba, Saudi Minister for Religious Affairs Saleh Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh at Peshawar Airport.
Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Bin Ibrahim will deliver sermon and lead Friday prayer today. Meanwhile, Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam-F has all set for its three-day centenary celebrations.
A Spokesman of the party said in Peshawar that delegates from 52 countries, including Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Indonesia and Qatar will attend the celebration. Strict security measures have been taken on the eve of centenary celebrations of JUI-F.
