Islamabad (November 09, 2018): The third round of technical talks between Pakistan and International Monetary Fund (IMF) held on Friday and the situation of state-run institutions who run in deficit and their privatization was discussed.
According to sources, during the talks, IMF demanded the curtailment of losses of state-run institutions who are in deficit as the government told IMF that privatization of seven state institutions has been decided.
According to finance ministry sources, the government has a plan to set up wealth funds holding company for the state-run institutions.
