Islamabad (January 18, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has announced on social media website twitter that he is going to make “explosive revelations” today.
He posted on Twitter: “When a Parliament, which must protect nation’s interests, passes a person-specific law allowing a disqualified person guilty of Rs 3 bn money laundering, tax evasion, concealment of assets, forgery & perjury to become head of a pol party, then such a law is a “laanath” on Parl.”

He further termed his use of the Urdu damned “a mild word to use” challenging anyone who disagreed with him to conduct a public poll to gauge what people thing of “such a Parliament” going so far as to guaranteeing that most would condemn it.

The PTI chairman finally announced he would be addressing a press conference this afternoon in which he would make “explosive revelations”.

Imran Khan on Wednesday had lambasted the parliament for allowing a ‘criminal’ to be elected as a party president.
“I damn the parliament that made a criminal the president of a party,” he said, in an apparent reference to Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) decision to elect ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif as its president.
He called the Sharif family a mafia who either threatens the enemies or buys them out. He slammed Nawaz Sharif for calling out judiciary.

Imran Khan criticised the role of parliament for not ensuring democracy. “Which parliament allows corrupt politician to be party president,” he said, stressing that democracy means to speak up for the people.
He told that he agrees with the move to present resignations in parliament and his party members had resigned from the 2014 sit-ins that were not accepted. Imran Khan applauded the critique on parliament given by Rasheed.“I curse the parliament that made a criminal the president of a party,” he said, in an apparent reference to Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) decision to elect ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif as its president.
“The two [Sharif] brothers are responsible for the Model Town incident,” said Imran. “I can say without beyond a shadow of a doubt that it [Model Town incident] was done on orders received by the police.”
He accused the Sharif brothers of being ‘fascists’ and claimed that they are not even ‘remotely democratic.’“I know them since the past forty years,” he said. “They get people roughed up.”
Imran stressed that the entire country witnessed the Model Town incident on their television sets, when the police opened fire on unarmed citizens.
“Don’t say they that they were Pakisan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers, they were Pakistanis,” he said. “The question here is, did people get justice?”
The PTI chief accused the Punjab police for deliberately opening fire on unarmed citizens.“Nowhere in the world does the police open fire on citizens. The police force only fires on terrorists, never on citizens.”
Imran assured PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri of his allegiance.
“We are standing with you Tahir-ul-Qadri sahib. We all saw how ruthlessly people were murdered in the [Model Town incident].
The first session was attended by leaders from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and addressed by former President Asif Ali Zardari and National Assembly Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah.
