Imran Comes Down Hard on Nawaz, Zardari for ‘Corruption’

Karachi (June 19, 2017): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan on Monday lashed out at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari for their alleged corruption.

According to the details, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Monday said that the Panama verdict will determine whether the “corrupt mafia” continues to rule over Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference here in Karachi, Imran Khan said that if angels joined Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari even then they can not eradicate corruption.

He added that for elimination of corruption one must have the will to do that. “Nawaz and Zardari have no will to eradicate corruption,” he blamed.

Khan said that all the people were on one side while all the corrupts were on the other.

Coming down hard on Sindh government for its perceived rampant corruption, Khan said that Sindh government had spend some Rs90 billion in Larkana.

“But one wonder as to where these Rs90 billion gone as the condition of Larkana is no more different than the ruins of Menjodaro,” he wondered.

“They are pretending as if they are not appearing before JIT but have conquered Kashmir,” he said.

On the occasion, he heaped praise on captain of Pakistan cricket team Sarfaraz Ahmed for leading Pakistani side to to winning champion trophy.

He congratulated the captain, team and management  for the convincing victory over the arch rival India in the final of the mega event.Taking a jibe at the rulers of the country, Imran said that there is immense “talent” of doing corruption, stealing money and taking out of the country.

“The system can also be fixed if institutions are rid of corruption…the [Pakistan] team could become the superpower of the cricket if the system is fixed,” said Imran.
