Islamabad (April 25, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has congratulated the PTI activists on the party’s 22nd Youm-e-Tasees and said that they would celebrate this journey under the Minar-e-Pakistan, an independence monument in Lahore, on April 29.
In his special message on the occasion of party’s 22nd Youm-e-Tasees, Khan said that he would put forward the details of his dream for a new Pakistan, that PTI hopes to build after elected to power in 2018 polls, at Lahore gathering on 29 April.
“”I have laid the foundation of PTI 22 years ago and now it has become such a big party,” he said.
PTI leader Jahagir Khan Tareen also applauded Imran Khan’s continued struggle in politics for improving things in the country and said that Naysayers said, he stands no chance against Political Mafias but today, 22 years later, he has proven all of them wrong.
“Year 1996; His critics told him not to waste time in politics. Haters made fun of him,” said a tweet from one of the most senior party leader and former general secretary.
Yesterday, Imran Khan said that news of a big wicket falling in the political arena will be heard soon.
Speaking to reporters in Lahore, Khan said that he would not respond to the query in detail and dodged a reporter who asked him whether he was talking about Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

He said that after April 29, the PTI flood would take the shape of Tsunami plus. “One tsunami will be seen by the public and the other by PTI,” Khan said.
On April 19, the PTI chief had invited Nisar to join his party. In his Lahore conference, Khan had said that Nisar’s refusal to take orders from Maryam Nawaz were praiseworthy.
“It was good to see that Nisar had taken a strong stand,” he said. “Nisar took a stand against a woman had no other achievement except for being the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
