KARACHI: Father of slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq breath his last today.
Farooq Ahmed, who was also a former MNA passed away in the private hospital in Karachi where he was undergoing treatment for several days for heart and kidney ailments.
His funeral prayers were held at Al-Sufa mosque in Karimabad area of Karachi attended by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, PTI’s MNA Aslam Khan, members of the coordination committee, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the city and all the chairman of districts.
Convenor, MQM Pakistan, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Dr. Imran Farooq father.
