ISLAMABAD: An important development has been made in the murder case of Imran Farooq as three police personnel of London police appeared before the court to record the statement.
The hearing of the Imran Farooq murder case is underway in the capital city while Shahrukh Arjumand,
judge of an anti terrorism court (ATC) is hearing the case.
Three British police personnel who are also witnesses in the case appeared before the court and their statements are being recorded in the court.
The three personnel included London police chief inspector, sergeant and constable.
Strict security measures have been taken at the appearance of the British witnesses while a fresh contingent of Islamabad police has been deployed outside the judicial complex.
It is pertinent to mention here that the court accepting request to present the British witnesses within 20 to 25 days had ordered to present them today December 2.
According to FIA they were not produced before the court due to Jamiat Ulmae-Islam led Azadi March in the capital.
