Imran Gives Go Ahead for challenging ECP Jurisdiction

Islamabad (August 28, 2017): The chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has given green signal to challenge Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) jurisdiction in Islamabad High Court IHC) regarding contempt of court.

The Imran Khan taken the decision in a meeting with party leader and lawyer Babar Awan. Imran Khan has formally approved that the petition against ECP jurisdiction over contempt of  court.

On the occasion, Imran said that NA-120 by poll was the contest between supporters of accountability and supporters of corruption.

He alleged that the members of provincial and federal cabinets were become the party of election campaign and PTI yet to wait ECP action against cabinet members interference.

“Despite Sharif family’s hue and cry I will take the corruption free Pakistan dream to its logical end,” Imran vowed.

Babar Awan said that the ECP contempt of court notice was completely unconstitutional and such laws not present.
