Imran Khan Announcement To Quit Assemblies Activates Punjab, KP Opposition To Stop Dissolution

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former chief minister has convened a meeting to discuss no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi.

The PML-N move has come after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan announced on November 26 in Rawalpindi rally that he will quit from all the assemblies.

The opposition sitting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also held in Peshwar. The meeting has decided to go for no-confidence motion against government and the opposition will also approach the court as well.

The opposition leader Sardar Babak said that we will adopt every legal and constitutional way to avoid dissolution of the assemblies.

The KP opposition has also taken the decision after Imran Khan announcement that his party will come out of the assemblies and work for the general elections.
