Imran summons PTI leadership, legal team’s meeting

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Friday summoned a meeting of party’s top leadership and his legal team at Bani Gala today following the adjournment of Panamagate case in the Supreme Court till first week of January.

It is to be mentioned here that the larger bench of Supreme Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of the Panamagate case till first week of January after the petitioners differed over the constitution of commission to investigate the case.

Jamaat-e-Islami and Tariq Asad pleaded the bench to constitute the commission, while PTI and AML Chief Sheikh Rashid opposed formation of commission. The counsels of Prime Minister and his children said that they would accept whatever decision the court will take, either form commission or the bench seized with the matter itself decide the case .

After the adjournment, the PTI chief summoned a meeting of top party leadership and his legal team to deliberate over the development.

The legal team of PTI will give briefing to Imran Khan about today’s hearing, fowling which the PTI will announce its future course of action.
