ISLAMABAD (May 4, 2017): A three member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar adjourned the hearing of a petitions seeking disqualification of chairman Pakistan Tekreek-e-Insaf and secretary general of the party Jahangir Tarin for not disclosing owning offshore companies till Monday.
The petition is filed by leader of ruling PMLN Hanif Abbasi.
The counsel of the petitioner Akram Sheikh continuing his arguments said that Imran Khan and Jehangir Tarin should be disqualified for hiding assets and submitting false statements with the election commission of Pakistan.
He also submitted documents pertaining to the foreign funding received by PTI.
