Incendiary speech case : ATC issues arrest warrants for Farooq Sattar, MQM founder

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar and the party’s founder in a case for incendiary speech.

The court ordered SSP Malir Rao Anwar to produce all the accused in incendiary speech case before the court on April 21. The court issues arrest warrants after hearing the case of inflammatory speech and attack on media house.

Artillery Maidan Police submitted preliminary challan of the case in the court and declared MQM founder, Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan among 11 as absconder. 52 accused, including Qamar Mansoor, Shahid Pasha and Gulfraz Khattak were produced before the court. The Judge adjourned the case by April 21 and directed the police to produce all the accused by next hearing.
